Bengaluru, NFAPost: Ultraviolette Automotive has announced the establishment of its new BIGGA (Big Global Ambition) Factory at SIPCOT Industrial Park, Shoolagiri, Hosur, Tamil Nadu.
The state-of-the-art facility will manufacture Ultraviolette’s highly anticipated Tesseract scooter and support its future portfolio across Sports, Crossover, Cruiser, Street segments and Scooters.
The factory will ramp up to an annual production capacity of 250,000 vehicles in a phased manner, with infrastructure designed to scale to 500,000 vehicles annually as demand grows.
According to the company press release, the factory is expected to create approximately 2,000 job opportunities in its initial phase and will integrate Industry 4.0 manufacturing, advanced automation, digital quality systems, collaborative robots, automated assembly fool-proofing, vision-based inspection and a specialised vehicle test track.
Operating alongside the brand’s existing Bengaluru facility, the BIGGA Factory will strengthen the company’s manufacturing scale, technology capabilities and ability to serve customers across India and international markets.
