The event was organised to commemorate the 115th Foundation Day celebration of Central Bank Of India
Tumkur, NFAPost: Jeevanmukthi Foundation, in association with Central Bank Of India, organised a two-day tree plantation drive at the Jnansri campus of Tumkur University on Saturday and Sunday.
The second phase of the tree plantation drive was organised as part of Central Bank of India 115th Foundation Day celebration. Around 500 saplings of 44 different varieties were planted at Tumkur University.

Speaking to TheNFAPost, Jeevanmuktei Foundation Fonder Rupa Ratikanth said around 150 volunteers, the majority of them included students from Gyanasiri Tumkur University.
“It is high time that we should continue to nurture our planet and create a sustainable future. This commitment from our side will save coming generation. Jeevanmuktei Foundation continues its tree plantation with the mantra of GoGreen and Sustainability initiatives,” said Jeevanmuktei Foundation Fonder Rupa Ratikanth.
The two-day tree plantation drive was also supported by HSR Citizen Forum. Tumkur University staff and Central Bank staff led the planting initiative.
