BonV Aero Expands Workforce by 45% in 2025 to Power India’s Aerospace Innovation

Startup boosts hiring and internship programs to build talent pipeline for electric aviation and autonomous flight systems

Bengaluru, NFAPost: In a strong move to scale its innovation engine, deep-tech aerospace startup BonV Aero has increased its full-time workforce by 45% in H1 2025, growing from 46 to 58 employees. The company, a key player in India’s electric aviation sector, aims to surpass a headcount of 70 by year-end, as it doubles down on talent acquisition across avionics, compliance, quality assurance, and software development.

With a sharp focus on future-ready talent, BonV Aero has also seen a 316% surge in its internship pool, now engaging 23 interns across engineering, HR, and design roles. The company’s newly launched internship and graduate trainee program is central to its HR strategy, helping it cultivate a robust internal talent pipeline.

“In our mission to accelerate electric aviation, people are the core. We’ve eliminated dependence on external trainers by creating a self-sufficient learning ecosystem,” said Rahul Kumar, Co-founder and Head of Designs. This internal framework includes technical workshops in partnership with the Army, aimed at drone logistics and autonomous Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) mission planning.

CEO Satyabarata Satapathy added that collaborations are underway with institutions like JKYog University, BPUT, and SRM University to offer drone pilot training, RPTO certifications, and disaster response modules. BonV Aero’s expansion is also backed by infrastructure upgrades, including enhanced lab and testing spaces.

As India accelerates its aerospace ambitions, BonV Aero’s workforce expansion signals a decisive step toward building a sustainable, innovation-led ecosystem for next-gen aerial mobility and deep-tech defence solutions.
