Arvian Safari Cycling Expedition 2025 reaches Chithradurga.
Bengaluru, NFAPost: Belgium couple Van der Burght Theo and Rigouts Christine had a difficult stretch as they reached Chithradurga from Chikkamagaluru.
Talking to TheNFAPost, Van der Burght Theo said they stayed two days in Chikkamagaluru, the leading tier-2 city in Western Ghat area of Karnataka state of India.
“The road construction is progressing in many parts of the stretch where we did biking. I request the government to provide fundamental infrastructure facilities for travellers,” said Van der Burght Theo.
He also pointed out that the stretch didn’t provide good hotel and they had to depend on small shops to have breakefast.
“We tasted idli from small hotels enroute. Also, met girls who were going to school with enthusiasm. Even though challenging, biking in the region is highly rewarding,” said Rigouts Christine.
The Belgian couple would start their journey tomorrow to Hospet to visit Hampi. Hampi, known as Kishkindha in the Ramayana age, is a town in the Vijayanagara district in the Indian state of Karnataka. Located along the Tungabhadra River in the east and center part of the state, Hampi is near the city of Hospet.
