Bengaluru, NFAPost: Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) launched the Golden Jubilee logo in the presence of Mysore Prince His Highness Yaduveer Wadiyar.
Speaking at the function, Mysore Prince His Highness Yaduveer Wadiyar said reaching fifty years is a proud and significant milestone for BCIC.
“This journey has been shaped by the vision of our founders, the leadership of those who guided the Chamber over the decades and the strong support of our members,” said Mysore Prince His Highness Yaduveer Wadiyar.
During its Golden Jubilee year, BCIC has unveiled a transformative agenda focused on innovation and global collaboration. Key initiatives include a Smart Manufacturing Summit with the Osaka government, an India-Japan MSME portal supported by SMRJ and a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Smart Manufacturing with Karnataka and Japanese partners.

The year will also feature a major industry conference in Mysore, multiple sectoral events, deeper startup engagement and expanded global outreach to markets like Singapore, Dubai and Australia positioning the Jubilee as a launchpad for BCIC’s next phase of growth.
While unveiling the logo, His Highness Yaduveer said that as BCIC celebrates this Golden Jubilee the organisation recognises that the strong 50-year foundation that has been built is not merely a milestone of the past, but the launchpad for the next 50 years of India’s growth journey.
“In the halfway mark of that journey, we will witness our Honourable Prime Minister’s vision of Viksit Bharat becoming a reality. This transformation, however, will not happen automatically — it requires the active participation, insight and leadership of our industry,” said Mysore Prince His Highness Yaduveer Wadiyar.
The Consul General of Israel to Southern India Orli Weitzman graced the occasion and addressed the members.
Speaking at the function, BCIC Golden Jubilee Committee Chairman Ravi Kumar, who is also Vice Chairman of BCIC, said the BCIC Golden Jubilee Logo launch is only a symbolic moment for the organisation.
“The BCIC golden jubilee is happening at a time when lots of churning are happening in global economy. Also, India is registering exponential growth with a few sectors are gaining global attention. Here India’s silicon valley Bengaluru is also looked upon with respect,” said BCIC Golden Jubilee Committee Chairman Ravi Kumar.

BCIC, earlier known as Greater Mysore Chamber of Industry (GMCI, is the Apex Chamber of Commerce representing large and medium industries in the State of Karnataka.
The Chamber represents 95% of the capital investment and 90% of labour employed in the State of Karnataka. We have presently a membership of 850 companies representing various sectors of industry such as – Manufacturing, IT/ITES, Biotechnology, Engineering, Consultancy and Legal firms etc.
BCIC plays an active and important role in promoting trade and investment in the State and has an excellent domestic and international network with MoUs with the leading Chambers of Commerce across the globe.
Being the apex Chamber of Commerce in Karnataka, BCIC organises Seminars/Workshops and Interactions with Senior Government Officials both from the Centre/State on critical issues concerning trade and industry from time to time.
