Emerson NI Days India 2025 Champions Intelligent Test Innovation for the Next Tech Wave

The Bengaluru conference spotlighted AI-driven automation, advanced modular hardware, and software-connected systems for future-ready testing across key industries

Bengaluru, NFAPost: Emerson’s Test and Measurement business, formerly known as National Instruments (NI), gathered over 600 engineers, researchers, and technology leaders under one roof this week for NI Days India 2025. Hosted at the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru, the conference reaffirmed Emerson’s vision to accelerate the next wave of software-connected, intelligent testing solutions critical to sectors such as aerospace, semiconductors, wireless communication, life sciences, and EV manufacturing.

As Emerson pushes forward under its new brand identity, the conference served as a dynamic platform for showcasing next-gen test and measurement innovations. Key discussions centered around the three pillars guiding Emerson’s roadmap: operational excellence, ecosystem growth, and platform innovation.

Accelerating Smart Test Futures

Ritu Favre, President of Emerson’s Test and Measurement division, delivered a compelling keynote emphasizing the shift from traditional validation to intelligent test systems powered by modular hardware, deep software integration, and advanced data analytics. Favre noted that reducing time-to-market and expanding test coverage will be fundamental for future-ready product development – especially in high-growth domains like mobility, 6G, and semiconductors.

Among the most anticipated announcements was the upcoming launch of NI Nigel™ AI Advisor, a transformative addition to the new versions of NI LabVIEW™ and NI TestStand™. Set to roll out later this month at no extra cost, Nigel represents a new class of AI assistants designed to automate routine tasks, improve code quality, and deliver real-time insights for engineers.

Hands-On Innovation and India’s Strategic Role

Live demonstrations and interactive experience zones allowed participants to see Emerson’s test technology in action—particularly within EV battery validation, high-speed wireless testing, and AI-integrated semiconductor workflows. Several customer showcases revealed how Indian teams are applying these tools to address complex R&D and production challenges.

Emerson also introduced significant hardware upgrades to its CompactRIO™ and C Series I/O platforms, now embedded with proprietary ASICs for enhanced high-speed control. These advancements promise tighter integration between software intelligence and test hardware, offering flexible and scalable solutions for tomorrow’s automated systems.

LabVIEW itself received a notable update, including a refreshed editor experience, streamlined code comparison tools, and early access to generative AI features—signaling Emerson’s commitment to building collaborative, AI-native engineering environments.

India at the Heart of Global Test Strategy

With a robust presence in India’s R&D and engineering ecosystem, Emerson reaffirmed the country’s critical role in shaping the future of intelligent test systems. India is not just a market for Emerson—it is a co-innovation hub driving advancements in wireless connectivity, electric vehicles, and embedded systems testing.

The conference reflected Emerson’s evolving vision: to empower engineers with smarter, faster, and more connected testing platforms. As industries increasingly rely on data-driven development cycles, Emerson’s innovations aim to bridge the gap between design complexity and time-to-market demands.
