Parents of recruits honoured with the prestigious ‘Gaurav Padak’ in recognition of their noble gesture
Bengaluru, NFAPost: Centre Commandant, Army Service Corps Centre (North) – 1 ATC Brigadier Tejpal Singh Mann reviewed an impressive attestation parade of 153 recruits from the Army Service Corps Centre (North) after completion of their training on Tuesday.
Army Service Corps Centre (North) is a premier institution imparting training to Animal and Store Handlers and Vehicle Driver for the complete Indian Army.
Technical Recruit, S Krishna Prasad was the Parade Commander and also adjudged the best recruit of the batch.
Brigadier Tejpal Singh Mann, in his speech, urged the young soldiers to imbibe soldierly ethos of ‘Imandari’, ‘Wafadari’ and ‘Bahaduri’.
The magnificent parade was attended by proud parents of recruits. All the parents were honored with the prestigious ‘Gaurav Padak’ instituted by the Indian Army as a token of recognition of their noble gesture of encouraging their ward to join the countless braves of the Indian Army in service of nation.
