Bengaluru, NFAPost: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is set to showcase its indigenous light utility helicopter, fighter jet, and training aircraft at the five-day Aero India 2025 event, beginning on February 10 at Yelahanka Air Force Station.
“HAL will showcase its indigenous products and technologies centred on the theme ‘Innovate. Collaborate. Lead’ at Aero India 2025,” said HAL Chairman and Managing Director D K Sunil.
At its indoor pavilion (HALL-E), HAL will display its Light Utility Helicopter (LUH), Hindustan Turbo Trainer (HTT)-40 Simulator, and scaled models of the LCA Mk1A fighter, LCA Mk1 Trainer, Hindustan Jet Trainer (HJT)-36, HTT-40, LCH, and ALH Mk IV. The company’s flying display will feature the LCA Mk1A, HJT 36, HTT-40, LUH, while the static display will include the LCA Mk1 Trainer, Hindustan 228, Do228, and LUH 228.
A major highlight in the India Pavilion will be the full-scale engineering demonstrator of the Combat Air Teaming System Warrior, alongside the Advanced Light Helicopter Next Generation and RUAV.
Aero India 2025 will run from February 10 to 14, with the first three days reserved for business visitors, while the final two days will be open to the general public. The event will feature a curtain raiser, an inaugural ceremony, the Defence Ministers’ Conclave, a CEOs’ Round Table, the iDEX start-up event, thrilling air shows, and a large exhibition area comprising the India Pavilion and a trade fair showcasing aerospace companies.
Aero India is India’s premier aerospace and defence exhibition, attracting global aerospace vendors and the Indian Air Force (IAF), who will dazzle spectators with back-to-back aerobatic flying displays. This biennial flagship event brings together industry leaders, government officials, technology experts, and defence strategists, offering a dynamic platform for international cooperation and strategic dialogue.
Over the years, Aero India has become a critical forum for advancing aerospace technology, highlighting cutting-edge innovations, and facilitating high-level discussions on defence policy and collaboration. This year’s event will further reinforce India’s rising stature in the international aerospace community.
The Defence Ministers’ Conclave, themed ‘BRIDGE-Building Resilience through International Defence and Global Engagement,’ will focus on fostering strategic partnerships and mutual prosperity through international cooperation. Bilateral meetings at various levels will explore new opportunities to strengthen defence and aerospace ties with friendly nations.
The CEOs’ Round Table will provide an ideal platform for foreign Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to explore manufacturing opportunities in India. The India Pavilion will also emphasise India’s commitment to the Make-in-India initiative by showcasing the nation’s indigenous defence manufacturing capabilities and cutting-edge technologies ready for the global stage.
Additionally, the iDEX pavilion will promote Indian start-ups, with a wide range of state-of-the-art technologies and products developed by them. Dynamic aerobatic displays and live technology demonstrations will offer an immersive experience, while seminars on a variety of themes will be held throughout the event, underscoring Aero India 2025 as a pivotal moment for the aerospace and defence sectors.
