Bengaluru’s Yelahanka Air Force Station is buzzing with activity ahead of the Aero India 2025 show starting Feb 10. The venue sports real-time traffic monitoring and multi-layered security. Authorities have widened the approach roads and added dedicated entry/exit points to enable a smoother traffic to Aero India 2025, according to the official release.
AC Volvo shuttle buses will be plying to ensure seamless connectivity to the air force station. The service is accessible across all prime locations, including Hebbal, Majestic, Shivajinagar, ITPL, Infosys Campus (Electronics City), Banashankari TTMC, Kengeri, Orion Mall (Rajajinagar), and Vijayanagar TTMC.
According to the release, disaster management and fire safety teams will monitor the vast expanse 24/7, and remain on standby. The ministry has reportedly placed limitations on flight movements around the area to beef up security.
“Red drone zones have been designated and published, with countermeasures in place to tackle unauthorised drone activity. Rapid Mobile Units will be deployed strategically to provide quick assistance and emergency support,” adds the release.
Visitor experience
Authorities have ramped up the exhibition halls with extra seating and rest areas. They have also added more food courts and enhanced ventilation to improve the overall experience for delegates and visitors. The initiative also includes Indira canteens in parking areas, and improved signages and navigation aids.

Digital support
Telecom service providers have erected temporary mobile towers and network boosters to avoid network disruptions. They have also enabled live updates and navigation assistance within the venue through a dedicated mobile app.
