Actor Naveen Shankar–starrer draws appreciation from audiences and the film fraternity at the 17th Bengaluru International Film Festival
Bengaluru, NFAPost: The Kannada feature film Nodidavaru Enanthare, starring Naveen Shankar in the lead and directed by Kuldeep Kariappa, received a positive response when it was screened in the Popular Kannada Cinema section at the 17th edition of the Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFFes).
Following the screening, members of the film’s cast and crew interacted with the media and shared their delight at the audience’s reaction, describing the festival screening as a significant milestone in the film’s journey.
Encouraging Festival Response
Director Kuldeep Kariappa said the appreciation received at BIFFes reaffirmed the team’s belief in the film.
“Audiences who watched the film in theatres had appreciated it earlier. Now, receiving such a good response at an international film festival is truly gratifying,” he said.
He added that showcasing the film at BIFFes helped it reach a wider and more diverse audience, including cinephiles and industry professionals.
A Special Moment for the Lead Cast
For actor Naveen Shankar, the screening held special significance.
“Our film has been screened at this year’s Bengaluru International Film Festival, which is often described as a true celebration of cinema,” he said. “The fact that audiences who watched Nodidavaru Enanthare here have appreciated it means a lot to all of us.”
Actress Apoorva Bharadwaj, who plays the female lead, described the moment as deeply personal.
“I had earlier worked as a volunteer at the Bengaluru International Film Festival. This year, seeing a film in which I play the lead being screened here is a very special and emotional experience for me,” she said.

Producer Nagesh Gopal expressed gratitude to the organisers for selecting the film.
