Two-day summit on December 12–13 to bring together top ICAI leaders, industry experts, and global thought leaders to explore the expanding role of Chartered Accountants in shaping next-gen Global Capability Centres
Bengaluru, NFAPost: The Bengaluru Branch (SIRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is set to host the 5th Edition of the GCC Summit 2025 on December 12 and 13 at the Jnana Jyoti Auditorium. The annual flagship event—organised by the Group to Promote India as Accounting GCC under the DITS & WTO Directorate—is themed “From Ledgers to Global Leadership – Chartered Accountants Shaping GCCs.” The summit is supported by WOFA 2026 – World Forum of Accountants as the official Ecosystem Partner.
Addressing the media at the Bangalore Press Club, CA Thuppad Virupakshappa Muppanna, Secretary, Bengaluru Branch (SIRC) of ICAI, said the two-day conclave aims to highlight the transformative role Chartered Accountants are playing in the rapidly growing Global Capability Centre (GCC) landscape.
“India is no longer just a participant in the GCC ecosystem—it is a global frontrunner. Chartered Accountants have been instrumental in this journey, moving from traditional finance functions to steering innovation, risk transformation, and global governance,” he noted.
