Karnataka to Host Inaugural ‘Bengaluru Skill Summit 2025’ — Paving the Way for a Future-Ready Global Workforce

Set to take place from November 4–6 at The Lalit Ashok, the Bengaluru Skill Summit 2025 will bring together global leaders, policymakers, educators, and innovators to position Karnataka as a hub for workforce excellence and international employability.

NFAPost, Bengaluru: In a major step toward redefining India’s skilling landscape, the Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship & Livelihood (SDEL), Government of Karnataka, is all set to host the inaugural edition of the Bengaluru Skill Summit 2025. The landmark event, scheduled from November 4–6 at The Lalit Ashok, Bengaluru, will spotlight Karnataka’s vision to build a globally employable, innovation-driven workforce equipped for the future economy.

Organized by the Karnataka Skill Development Corporation (KSDC) in collaboration with the Karnataka Skill Development Authority (KSDA), the summit’s Knowledge Partner is the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM), and Germany joins as the Country Partner, underscoring the international dimension of this initiative.

The event will be inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Siddaramaiah, in the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri D. K. Shivakumar, and Dr. Sharanaprakash Rudrappa PatilHon’ble Minister for Skill Development, Entrepreneurship & Livelihood and Medical Education. Distinguished guests will include The Hon. Workforce 2030: Scale, Systems, Synergy

Themed “Workforce 2030: Scale, Systems, Synergy”, the Bengaluru Skill Summit 2025 will explore the future of skilling in an AI-driven, green, and digital economy, focusing on scalable systems, quality frameworks, and global collaboration.

With over 3,000 delegates100+ speakers, and 50+ exhibitors, the summit promises to be a melting pot of ideas and innovation — uniting policymakers, industry leaders, academia, and development partners to shape the next decade of skill transformation.

A key highlight of the summit will be an exclusive ministerial panel on November 5, 2025, titled “Convergence of Education, Skills & Industry for a Trillion USD Economy by 2032.”

This high-level dialogue will bring together top policymakers including Dr. Sharanaprakash Rudrappa PatilM. B. Patil (Minister for Large & Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development), Priyank Kharge (Minister for Rural Development & Panchayat Raj, and E, I.T. & Bt.), and Dr. M. C. Sudhakar (Minister for Higher Education).

The session, moderated by Madan PadakiManaging Trustee, Head Held High Foundation, will examine how an integrated education–skill–industry ecosystem can drive innovation, employability, and sustainable economic growth in India’s journey toward a trillion-dollar economy.
