Bengaluru, NFAPost: Uthishta, an NGO which is working in the space of education, healthcare and empowerment, donated 16 sitting stone benches for Karnataka Institute of Endocrinology (KIER) and sponsored medical expense for 5 poor children affected by Type-1 diabetes.
Switzerland-headquartered NAGRA, the digital TV division of the Kudelski Group, provides security and multiscreen user experience solutions for the monetisation of digital media, supported Uthishta in providing the facility to the needy.
As chief guest, NAGRA Group Chief Information Officer Christophe Nicolas inaugurated the benches and handed over the sponsorship letter to KIER Department of Paediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology Department Head Dr Santhosh O S.

We are working for deeper engagement with society and create impact in our growth journey,” said NAGRA Group Chief Information Officer Christophe Nicolas.
The company also runs a free ambulance project for poor people in Whitefield/C V Raman Nagara areas through its NGO Uthishta.
On education and environment, the company has donated computers and televisions for rural government schools for digital literacy. On the environment, the company is involved in tree plantations and potable drinking water for rural school children. “
