Kozhikode, NFAPost: N V Sreedaran Memorial Endowment Prize instituted for supporting students educational upbringing, distributed its 2024 awards on Friday at the Government Upper Primary School (GUPS) Ariyallur.
The endowment prise was distributed at the school to selected 25 students. Speaking at the function, N V Sreedharan Memorial Endowment Prize President N V Sunil Kumar remembered his grandfather’s vision on education.
“My grandfather always gave primacy for education as it is a catalyst for all round development. Today our entire village and Vallikunnu Panchayat is prospering because of educated youngsters and those who are well placed because of education,” said N V Sreedharan Memorial Endowement Prize President N V Sunil Kumar.
Sharing her thoughts during the inaugural function, Chief Guest and Central Financial Credit and Investment Cooperative (India) Ltd (CFCICI) Area Manager Sanjay Moses said the world changed a lot and students education is primary agenda of every parent for the all round development of any individual.
“Besides quality education, students need softskill to excell themselves in this hyper competitive world. Also, awareness about disruptive technologies will help them to take informed decisions in life. I appreciate and wish a bright future for all the winners of N V Sreedharan Memorial Endowement Prize,” said Central Financial Credit and Investment Cooperative (India) Ltd (CFCICI) Area Manager Sanjay Moses.
GUPS Ariyallur Head Mistress highlighted the importance of education for the all round development of society.

Education is very important in this era of information revolutions where decisions are to be take on a split of second to move ahead and reach at desired destination to achieve prosperity,” said GUPS Ariyallur Head Mistress.
Speaking at the function, Vallikunnu Panchayat Member Aneesh said Ariyallur GUPS is known for imparting quality education to the society.
“I myself studied in this school and lots of students who passed from here have reached at various echelons of society. I appreciate the teachers who have served in this school and brought laurels to this school. I believe the victory yathra of GUPS Ariyallur in all years still resonate in my years and I feel very proud of it,” said Vallikunnu Panchayat Member Aneesh.
Speaking on the sidelines N V Sreedharan Memorial Endowement Prize members Sheeba K C and Anija N V lauded Ariyallur GUPS teachers, non teaching staff and Panchayat ward member Aneesh for supporting to distribute the award. Nambyaru Veettil family members also attended the function.
