Commenting about the India business, SonicWall Chief Revenue Officer Jason Carter says Due to massive digitization and unprecedented migration to the cloud, there has been a significant uptick in demand for cyber security solutions.
“SonicWall is addressing this Cybersecurity market with its proven tools and technologies,” said SonicWall Chief Revenue Officer Jason Carter.
SonicWall Asia Pacific and Japan Vice President Debasish Mukherjee said SonicWall is focused on every customers across SMEs and larger enterprises.
“Our focus is also on the large accounts due to the fact that their security needs are more dynamic and complex. We see lot of demand coming from Government, Healthcare, and retail segments as well. Along with our wide network of partners, we are working to educate and onboard these customers,” said SonicWall Asia Pacific and Japan Vice President Debasish Mukherjee.

said SonicWall is growing well in the India region.
“A positive thing is that even the Indian government has been very supportive with the recently announced increased cyber security budgets. At the same time lots of digitisation is happening at the corporate sector. This naturally leads to increased chances of threat and attacks,” said SonicWall Asia Pacific and Japan Vice President Debasish Mukherjee.
He also said SonicWall has had the reputation of near 100% catch rate of any such threats and attacks making the company the choice for cyber security solutions by organisation.
When asked about importance on the India business, SonicWall Chief Revenue Officer Jason Carter said the company is expanding its business globally and India has become one of its focus regions to take this growth trajectory forward actively.
“To make this happen, our plans are to invest more in the channel community who will help us expand our reach in the India business sector,” said SonicWall Chief Revenue Officer Jason Carter.
Channel Partners
While talking about the channel partners, SonicWall Chief Revenue Officer Jason Carter said the company wants to grow and expand its business along with the channel partners in India.
“We are revamping our channel programmes and enhancing the new channel plan with two track approach. One is for the partners who are interested on project resale and can put lot of velocity. The second is our Managed Services Programme that enables partners to share knowledge with SonicWall,” said SonicWall Chief Revenue Officer Jason Carter.

Sharing his plans on India business, SonicWall Asia Pacific and Japan Vice President Debasish Mukherjee says the company’s India business has grown 3 times in three years and there is ample opportunity and potential to grow this further in the coming months / years.
“Our enterprise business specifically has grown at a great pace in India followed by the SEA region in countries such as Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam,” said SonicWall Asia Pacific and Japan Vice President Debasish Mukherjee.
Hybrid – Traditional environments
Expressing happiness over company’s performance, SonicWall Chief Revenue Officer Jason Carter said SonicWall helps partners build, scale, and manage security across cloud, hybrid, and traditional environments – driving secure cloud adoption at the customer’s pace.
“We are educating our partners on how to better serve the SMB community. Our security-as-a-service is being offered to the customers in a short-term period format of 30 days at a time to help them with the OPEX. This is an effective and efficient alternative to the CAPEX route, ” said SonicWall Chief Revenue Officer Jason Carter.
He also pointed out that SonicWall will continue to grow its India business by retaining and growing its customer and partner base across industry sectors.
