Youth as Future Leaders to raise and recommend policy change
Bengaluru, NFAPost: Young Indians (Yi) Bengaluru chapter, part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in collaboration with Ministry of Youth Affair and Sports and EntIISC is hosting Y20 dialogues event at Indian Institute of Science (IISC) Bangalore on Thursday, 20th April 2023 at 10:30 am.
Students from educational institutions associated with Yi Bengaluru and IISC will be part of these sessions. Young Indians (Yi) Bengaluru event is happening as India is set to host the G20 YEA India Summit in Delhi from 13-15 July 2023.
India is a proud host of 2023 G20 Summit at New Delhi in July this year. The Theme ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ is a symbol of Unity and Learning from India’s rich ancient heritage. The motto of ‘One Earth One Family One Future’ goes beyond borders, connecting people through fragments of sharing history.
As India has taken over the G20 Presidency, this is a moment of great pride for Yi to bring together over 800 changemakers from 20+ nations at G20 YEA India Summit in Delhi. The G20 Young Entrepreneur Alliance (YEA) is a global network of approximately 500,000 young entrepreneurs and the organizations that support them.
Yi Bengaluru Chapter Chair Bhavin Dinesh Pandya said that Yi Bengaluru is excited to announce the hosting these sessions as they aim to create outcome-based discussions on reimaging business for the future and participatory models of governance.
“Young achievers are encouraged to join and share their ideas on these important themes. Let’s come together and shape the future of our country,” said Yi Bengaluru Chapter Chair Bhavin Dinesh Pandya.
Yi Bengaluru Chapter Co-chair Mohammed Zahrin Bin Aziz said the event will feature a series of panel discussions, keynotes and interactive sessions, giving attendees the opportunity to connect with some of the brightest minds in the country on finding solutions to the most pressing issues.
First session: Future of Business – Dialogue between Young Indian achievers towards reimagining business for the future will be led by industry leaders like Ms. Uzma – Director Prestige Group; Mr. Umakant Soni Co- Founder & CEO Art Park, Mr. BR Diwakar CEO and MD CreditAccess Life Insurance Company, Mr. Kiran Sathvik – MD, Growth & Strategy Accenture.
Second session: Participatory Governance – Dialogue between Young Indian achievers and governance institutions of urban and rural bodies on participatory model of governance. It will be a round table discussion with students calling for Policy change recommendations which will be led by Shri MN Anuchet IPS – Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic Bengaluru; Dr. Basavaraju – Executive Director – Graam, Mr. Prateek Khandelwal – Founder – RampMyCity; Ms. Yumana Sastry – Founder – Cabdost & Dvara Money.
