Bengaluru, NFAPost: LeadIndia webinar organised on Friday to celebrate Dr APJ Abdul Kalam’s 89-90th Birth Anniversary, set history as the longest duration webinar in human history and World Book of Record London issued certificate of recognition.
The webinar which started on October 15, 2020, at 5:00 PM IST and concluded with a valedictory function on October 16, 2020, at 5:00 PM IST. The webinar event on ‘Sustainable Inclusive Development’ had altogether 10 Sessions for about 24 hours.
The unique initiative organised by Lead India Foundation Chairman Hari Eppanapally galvanised the power of global development initiatives and entrepreneurial synergy had participation from more than 100 nations. The event was broadcasted from 8 different countries and included over 120 speakers across 9 sessions. Among the speakers were Presidents, Prime ministers and Heads of NGOs, Enterprises and government representatives of various countries.
Vision 2020 PURA
Expressing happiness over the grand success of the event, Lead India Foundation Chairman Hari Eppanapally said Lead India is focussed on materialising the great vision promulgated by former President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam leading to ‘livable Planet Earth’ via adopting his ‘Vision 2020 PURA’ (Providing Urban Amenities In Rural Areas).

Lead India is also organising an innovation challenge, where participants can come up with innovative ideas and solutions for affordable and sustainable inclusive development.

Commenting on the success of the Lead India event, 100 Open Startups Cofounder Varad Rajan Krishna said it has brought a global synergy among policy makers and entrepreneurs for the need of adopting innovation for sustainable development.
