Bengaluru, NFAPost: Karnataka government is organising two-day entrepreneurship workshop titled ‘Udyami Aagu, Udyoga Needu’ at Palace Ground in Bengaluru.
Giving an overview of the event while addressing the reporters after overseeing the arrangements at the Bangalore Palace, Karnataka Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani said the event will witness the successful entrepreneurs sharing their experience with students and budding entrepreneurs.
“The ‘Udyami Aagu, Udyoga Needu’ (‘Be an Entrepreneur, Become an Employer’) is a unique idea, probably first time in the country, to promote entrepreneurship and encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth. The programme is aimed at attracting youths towards entrepreneurship and job creation,” said Murugesh R Nirani.
Besides aiming to provide a platform for youngsters to become successful entrepreneurs, Murugesh R Nirani said ‘Udyami Aagu, Udyoga Needu wants youngsters to be job-providers instead of job-seekers.
The daylong workshop will provide a platform for those who registered for this event directly interact with the successful entrepreneurs, gain knowledge and learn the tricks of the trade. There will be bankers and senior government officials who will provide necessary guidance and assistance to the budding entrepreneurs.
Some of the prominent business leaders, young entrepreneurs who have achieved great success in their businesses like Nithin Kamath, Founder and CEO, Zerodha; Aprameya Radhakrishna, Co-founder and CEO, Koo app; Gadhadar Reddy, CEO, NoPo Nanotechnologies; Chaitanya Adapa, Head -Credit, Udaan Capital and Vivekananda Hallekere, CEO, Co-founder, Bounce.
Leaders like Geetha Manjunath, Founder and CEO, Niramai Health Analytix; Madan Padaki, Co-founder, Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship; Subramanya SV, Co-founder and CEO, Fisdom; Rajkiran Rai G, MD and CEO, Union Bank of India among others will take part in the event to share their experiences with youngsters and budding entrepreneurs.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will inaugurate the ‘Udyami Aagu, Udyoga Needu’ programme on Monday. The next day, on October 12, Kaigarika Adalat also will be held. This event will help industrialists and other stakeholders to resolve their grievances on the spot. Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines Pralhad Joshi will take part in the programme.
