Two-Day Roadshow Aims to Attract Space Tech, IT, and Garment Industry Investments to Madhya Pradesh
Bengaluru, NFAPost: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is set to engage with industrialists during a two-day investors’ summit roadshow in Bengaluru, focusing on attracting investments in space technology, IT, and the garment industry for the state. The roadshow, taking place on August 7 and August 8, marks a significant step in Madhya Pradesh’s efforts to leverage new technologies for state development.
For the first time, Madhya Pradesh is actively seeking investments from space technology companies, recognizing the potential of satellite imagery and data analytics in enhancing development plans. “Space technology companies provide satellite imagery and data analytics. Global monitoring and accuracy of data improves through satellites. These companies are developing the latest technology to monitor space pollution and orbital objects, aiming to increase security in space,” the official statement read.
During the roadshow, CM Yadav will interact with leaders from prominent space tech companies, including Pixxel, Digantara, Galaxeye, SatSure, and KaleidEO Sky Server, to invite them to invest in Madhya Pradesh. SatSure, known for its valuable satellite imagery services for agriculture, and Pixxel, which operates small satellites for Earth imaging, are among the key companies the Chief Minister aims to attract.
Additionally, the Chief Minister will engage with IT sector companies to explore investment opportunities, with a vision to establish Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in Bhopal and Indore. These centres are expected to create employment opportunities, boost the local economy, and harness the state’s talent pool, thus fostering technological innovation and entrepreneurship.
Recognizing the potential of the garment industry in Madhya Pradesh, CM Yadav will also hold discussions with major apparel and textile companies in Bengaluru, including Best Corp and Gokaldas. These discussions aim to strengthen the state’s economic condition by creating new employment opportunities and positioning Madhya Pradesh as a major hub in the global garment sector.
The two-day roadshow underscores Madhya Pradesh’s commitment to attracting diverse investments, fostering technological advancements, and driving economic growth through strategic industry collaborations.
