Doctor-turned-MLA Ranganath H D exhorts the need for financial literacy among farmers and common citizens

Kunigal/Tumkuru, NFAPost: Financial literacy among farmers and common citizens will help improve the socio-economic upliftment of society, said Kunigal MLA Ranganath H D while inaugurating the 481st branch of Sree Gokulam Chits and Finance at Kunigal town on Wednesday.
“We all know farmers and common citizens are exploited because of financial illiteracy in our state. Sree Gokulam Chits and Finance can work as a catalyst in this journey by selling their financial products and at the same time engage in financial literacy campaigns in Kunigal constituency,” said doctor-turned-MLA Ranganath H D.
Speaking at the event he said Sree Gokulam Chits and Finance can work with farmers and young entrepreneurs so that new business ideas will come to fruition with the support of financial products from the company.
Areshankara Math Mathadhyakshar Sri Siddarama Chaitanya Mahaswamy and Basaveswaramath Bidanagere Mathadhyakshar Sri Dr. Dhananjaya Swamy graced the inaugural function of Sree Gokulam Chits and Finance Kunigal branch.
Speaking to NFAPost, Gokulam Group of Companies Managing Director Baiju Gopalan said the company is looking at active engagement with farmers, young entrepreneurs, and MSMEs in Karnataka.

Sree Gokulam Chits and Finance Kunigal Branch is on the 1st Floor of the building on BM Road, Kunigal Town. Spread over more than 1000 square feet, the branch is led by Branch-In-Charge Chandrashekar and around 10 staff.
