Grecia Munoz now stays with Indian startup poster-boy in New Delhi; She attends along with hubby Deepinder Goyal during the NDTV Entrepreneur of the Year award function
New Delhi, NFAPost: Deepinder Goyal, the poster boy of Indian food-tech startup Zomato with an estimated $650 million stake, is reportedly married to Mexica-born entrepreneur startup focusing on luxury consumer products and ex-model Grecia Munoz.
While speculation abounds, neither Deepinder Goyal nor Grecia Munoz has officially confirmed the news surrounding their marriage. Grecia Munoz, who previously worked in the entertainment industry and also hosted television shows, declared on her Instagram that she is now at home in India and also shared pictures.
The marriage reportedly happened two months ago and the couple returned from their honeymoon in February, people familiar with the developments said. The news about Deepinder Goyal’s marriage with Grecia Munoz came two days after Zomato faced intense backlash on social media for their newly launched “pure veg mode.”
Deepinder Goyal shared a picture with Grecia Munoz after which the sources close to the Zomato founder confirmed that the the duo is married. Gurgaon-based Deepinder Goyal , 41, spent his childhood in the town of Muktsar in Punjab and completed his pre-university in Chandigarh.
He had a stint with the consulting firm Bain & Company in 2005 and left the organisation to start restaurant aggregator and food delivery giant Zomato in 2008, then known as Foodiebay.com along with his friends Akriti Chopra, Pankaj Chaddah and Gunjan Patidar.
During his Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Delhi) Mathematics and Computing Department days, Deepinder Goyal fell in love with his classmate Kanchan Joshi and both got married after dating for six months.

In an earlier interview with Forbes, he shared details about his courtship days with Kanchan Joshi. Kanchan Joshi is a professor at the University of Delhi, and the reason of her separation from Zomato Cofounder Deepinder Goyal is not public. The couple reportedly shares a daughter named Siara.
Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal was named ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the NDTV Indian Of The Year awards on Friday and his wife Grecia Munoz was present with him at the event to cheer him on.
Posting photos from the event on her Instagram, the former model who married the Zomato CEO a few months ago, shared the news with her followers. “And the award goes to….” she captioned a series of Instagram stories that showed Deepinder Goyal receiving the award from Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and the couple posing for pictures. The former model captioned the photo with a simple white heart emoji.
As a model, Grecia Munoz participated in several fashion events and was the winner of the Metropolitan Fashion Week in 2022. Beyond her professional pursuits, Grecia is actively engaged in philanthropy, supporting various charitable causes. Both Grecia and Goyal are known to champion education, women’s empowerment, and child welfare initiatives.
