Government of Karnataka and ABAI Propel Bengaluru GAFX as a Global Hub for Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming & Comics
Bengaluru, NFAPost: In a significant development for India’s Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming & Comics (AVGC) sector, Bengaluru GAFX 2024, organized by the Ministry of ITBT, Karnataka, and ABAI, is set to take center stage from January 29 to 31, 2024, at The Lalit Ashok, Bengaluru. With the thematic emphasis on ‘Augmented Intelligence: Powering AVGC,’ the event aims to bring together industry leaders, academia, and government stakeholders for a comprehensive exchange of knowledge, trends, and challenges.

Karnataka, known for its pioneering AVGC policy and initiatives, aspires to become the global skilling epicenter for the AVGC community. Bengaluru GAFX serves as a crucial platform to share the state’s vision, promoting growth, development, and career pathways through incubators and accelerators.
The President of ABAI & Country Head Technicolor India, Shri Biren Ghose, highlighted the significance of Bengaluru GAFX 2024 in celebrating past successes and identifying new opportunities for the holistic growth of AVGC in India. The event, featuring multiple conference tracks, masterclasses, student competitions, e-Sports arenas, B2B networking sessions, and exhibitions, is poised to be a cornerstone for the AVGC industry’s progress.
