Bengaluru, NFAPost: The stage is set for the annual jamboori IMTEX 2024 (International Machine Tool and Manufacturing Technology Exhibition), Asia’s largest exhibition on metal forming and manufacturing technologies organised by Indian Machine Tools Manufacturers Association (IMTMA) at BIEC in Bengaluru.
The event is very unique as the country is gearing up to become the epicentre of fourth industrial revolution and IMTEX 2024 will showcase exciting assemblage of new-age technologies in metal forming machine tools under one roof.
Speaking to TheNFAPost, an MSME entrepreneur from Electronic City Phase 2 Radhakrishnan, a supplier to Bosch and Indian defence establishments, said IMTEX 2024 is the biggest avenue for sharing expertise so that he can boost his business.
“I look at IMTEX 2024 from the prism of a platform which will help me to engage with with industry professionals across the globe. Also, the event helps in fostering valuable business connections and generate leads for me like MSME companies,” said Radhakrishna.
IMTMA Executive Director for Trade Fairs Guru Prasanth said the exhibition showcases a diverse range of metal forming machine tools which will help the Indian manufcaturing sector access a wide spectrum of technologies.
“IMTEX 20224 will influence future of Indian manufacturing. Currently, the metal forming market in India has reached a record high of Rs 5,500 crore compared with Rs 2500 crore in the previous year. There is a growing prominence for near net shape manufacturing,” said IMTMA Executive Director for Trade Fairs Guru Prasanth.
It is important to note that IMTEX2024 will showcase technologies in the areas of die casting, tiles, molds, presses, laser welding, laser cutting, sheet metal forming, laser blending, laser cutting, laser bending, laser stamping etc.
This year the event will have around 700 exhibitors with participation from countries like US, Germany, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China etc. They will showcase vital technologies in verticals like aerospace, defence, automobile, auto components, railways, electrical, consumer goods etc.
