Visakhapatnam, NFAPost: TheNFAPost newspaper, in association with L&T Technology Services and powered by Nasscom CoE-IoT & AI, organised the 2nd anniversary of community building initiative NFAPostStartupSafari in the city on Wednesday.
Speaking at the event, Nasscom Visakhapatnam CoE-IoT & AI Director Om Prakash said the centre nurtures startups with matured concepts and scale it up to reach greater heighs.
“We are finding enough companies in Visakhapatnam and adjacent district are generating enough entrepreneurs with vision and we are helping them to grow,” said Nasscom Visakhapatnam CoE-IoT & AI Director Om Prakash.
TheNFAPost Founder and Editor-in-Chief N V Vijayakumar interacted with selected five startup in different domains.
“It is high time that India should have startup entrepreneurs who should come up with innovative ideas which will have solid business model which resolve many of the issues affecting the country,” said TheNFAPost Founder and Editor-in-Chief N V Vijayakumar.
It is interesting to note that some companies are evolving over a period of time with their edtech background to IoT having application in defence industries. Some companies in the space of AI is also working with enterprise companies to do cutting edge work.
Speaking to TheNFAPost on the sidelines of NFAPostStartupSafari event, startup founders also shared their ambition to be exposed to global ecosystem so that thier SaaS solution get right fit customers.
Andhra Chamber Vizag Chapter President K V S Verma said Visakhapatanam is witnessing matured started up doing phenomenal stuff.
“It is great to see that state government along with central government are supporting these initiatives. It is also a fact that the city has steel industry and hydrocarbon industry along with export industry for value addition. It is high time startup entreprenurs should tap the opportunity to be at global arena,” said Andhra Chamber Vizag Chapter President K V S Verma.
As part of the NFAPostStartupSafari 5 startups were also felicitated.
NFAPostStartupSafari second anniversary is happening that in a round trip starting from Bengaluru to Nellore via Tirupati and then Guntur to Vijayawada. Then it will go to Hyderabad via Vijayawada. to Sangli to Kholapur to Belagavi to Hubbali to Davangere to Tumkuru to Bengaluru.
