Karnataka Government’s Commitment to Innovation Evident in Diverse Range of Sectors
Bengaluru, NFAPost: In a testament to Karnataka’s unwavering commitment to fostering innovation, the Department of Electronics, IT, BT, and S & T proudly unveiled 35 ground-breaking products and solutions during the 26th edition of the Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) 2023. The spotlight of this year’s summit was on the second edition of the Startup Product Launch, held at the Startup Innovation Zones over the 2nd and 3rd days of the event.
Sector-Agnostic Innovation
The showcased products and solutions spanned a multitude of sectors, reflecting sector-agnostic innovation. From IT/ITeS and Agri-Tech to Med-Tech, Clean-Tech, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and more, the diversity of offerings underscored the dynamic nature of Karnataka’s startup ecosystem.
Diversity of Offerings
The array of innovative solutions included electronic devices integrating Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things, advancements in automotive manufacturing, innovations in animation and AVGC, technologies in healthcare and wellness, as well as solutions in avionics & defence, cybersecurity, environment tech, and electronics.
Incubator Support
A significant number of startups showcased have flourished within Government of Karnataka-supported incubators, such as K-tech Innovation Hubs, Centres of Excellence (CoEs), and Technology Business Incubators (TBIs) anchored by esteemed institutions like C-CAMP, NASSCOM, Jain Incubation Centre, Deshpande Startups, and CoE – Cybersecurity.
Government Backing
Several startups featured in this showcase have received financial grant support through the Government’s Idea2PoC/ELEVATE Grant-in-aid seed funding program, highlighting the state’s commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial talent and fostering a culture of innovation.
Diversity and Inclusion
Out of the 35 startups, a noteworthy 09 are women-led, underlining the inclusive and diverse nature of Karnataka’s startup ecosystem.

- Automotive Manufacturing: Armanium PVT LTD unveiled the “Skullmate,” an anti-hair fall helmet with additional safety features for neck and spinal cord injury.
- AVGC: Mountain Flower Animation Pvt Ltd presented “Nammuru,” an animation series based on India’s culture, tradition, and history, combining education and entertainment.
- Health Care: Tad Aircon Private Limited introduced “Indoor Air Quality Improvement,” aiming to reduce emissions intensity and improve indoor air quality.
- Technology: uniQin.ai launched “uptick,” an AI-powered SaaS pricing platform for small & medium eCommerce retailers.
- Biotechnology: Neofysis Biotech Private Limited showcased “Bio Traptor,” a Bio-Smart device attracting and killing mosquitoes with eco-safe patented technology.
- Avionics & Defence: Nikhilon India Pvt Ltd presented the “High-Speed ADC Board,” a versatile and low-power consumption board suitable for various applications.
- Wellness: Aspirar Sphere Pvt Ltd introduced “Veachoc,” a simple solution for iron deficiency in the form of chocolate.
- Saas/Fintech: Digitrii Solutions Private Limited unveiled “One Communn,” aiming to revolutionize digital community interaction and management using cutting-edge technology.
- MedTech: Mystic Clean Energy Tech LLP showcased an “Oxygen Generator,” extracting pure oxygen from water for medical use.
- Electronics Product: CED LABS PRIVATE LIMITED launched “SODAN,” a system for subterranean ground assets detection, analysis, and management.
- Hyperlocal SAAS platform: Changepay MMS Technologies PVT LTD introduced “Changepay – Smart IoT Food Delivery Locker” for contactless deliveries.
- Social Impact Product: DeepVisionTech Pvt. Ltd. unveiled “Let’sTalkSign,” an automatic Sign Language interpreter empowering Deaf, Speech and Hearing-impaired individuals.
- Defence and Maritime: AERONUTS presented “AquaAirX,” an amphibious drone revolutionizing maritime inspections with aerial and underwater capabilities.
