Bengaluru, NFAPost: Huawei Technologies India Pvt Ltd Corporate Affairs Associate Vice President Gilbert Millicent Nathan announces his resignation after serving the company for 23 years.
Gilbert M Nathan helped Huawei Technologies India to set up its facility in Bengaluru in a small way and shifted the company operation to 16 acre campus at Whitefield in Bengaluru.
In a letter to TheNFAPost Founder and Editor-in-Chief N V Vijayakumar, Gilbert M Nathan expressed his happiness in working closely with the new media company.
“TheNFAPost is instrumental in Huawei’s growth in India, helping reach our stakeholders and thus succeed and grow our operations in India – be it our large human resource base, serving ICT customers worldwide (operators, enterprises and consumers) from the India centre, transformation of Huawei’s reputation as a technology leader and innovator, and a responsible corporate citizen,” states Huawei Technologies India Pvt. Ltd Corporate Affairs Associate Vice President Gilbert Millicent Nathan.
Besides helping the company liaison with various state government, Gilbert M Nathan also excelled in managing the image of Huawei in India. He also was involved in multiple layers of corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities across India which made deep societal impact.
Commenting on his service to the state government, Karnataka IT/BT and Panchayathi Raj Minister Priyank Kharge said Gilbert M Nathan contributed immensely in the growth of the state IT ecosystem by joining hands with Huawei.
“We should learn from such individual contribution so that we can leapfrog in our journey to achieve greater objective. A soft-spoken, Gilbert M Nathan is also known for his caring for society and fundamental understanding of down trodden classes in our society which he supported across the state with CSR initiative. I wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” said Karnataka IT/BT and Panchayathi Raj Minister Priyank Kharge.
