Focus would be on overall Industrial growth: MB Patil
Bengaluru, NFAPost: Large and Medium Industries Minister MB Patil said on Friday that the government was steadfast in its commitment to fostering the growth of industries in the state and institutional setups such as Vision Groups would play an important role in achieving the desired result.
Speaking after presenting the FKCCI Export Excellence awards to winning companies he assured that all efforts would be made to boost the manufacturing sector across the state.
“Karnataka stands first in merchandise export in India. We want to bolster export & innovation of our entrepreneurs for over all development of state. I ensure that Karnataka should continue to become the export hub of India along with its tall position in services export,” said Large and Medium Industries Minister MB Patil.
Several companies including Shamanuru Shivashankarappa owned the Indian Cane Power Sugar Mill located at Bagalakote, were presented the “Star Exporter” award. The other companies in the list comprised GE Industrial Pvt. Ltd, Yashaswi Fish Meal & Oil Company, Micro Labs Ltd., Mukka Proteins Ltd., DCX Systems Ltd., Louis Dreyfus Company Ltd., and Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd.
Vetogen Animal Health LLP, Neumatica Technologies Pvt. Ltd., and RR Industries clinched the “Best Manufacturer Export Award”.
Saud Al Mazrouevi, Rameshchandra Lahoti, MG Balakrishna, Uma Reddy, K. Lakshmanan, Devavratadas and others were present.
