Chitradurga, NFAPost: In line with Vedanta’s unwavering commitment towards enhancing community wellbeing, Iron Ore Karnataka organised a ‘Multi-specialty Mega Health Camp’, at Community Health Centre, Sirigere in collaboration with Basaveshwara Medical College & Hospital, Chitradurga, Community Health Centre, Sirigere & Sevamob. The free healthcare services provided by the health camp were availed by 392 patients across 18 villages.
The Free Multispecialty Mega Health Camp offered a comprehensive array of medical services, including Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, ENT, Dental, General Medicine, Paediatrics, Gynaecologist along with BP & Sugar Tests done for the patients who came from neighboring villages.

People from different walks of life, especially the rural communities benefitted the most from the multi-specialty health camp. The highlight of the health camp was an attempt to spread awareness about PCOD, PCOS, menstrual health, and hygiene to young girls, through an interactive session by Devamgana K P, Corporate Social Responsibility, IOK, in association with Sneha Clinic.
