New Delhi, NFAPost: Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), which is the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, has reported a total sales figure of 88,731 units for the month of April 2023. Out of these, 67,259 units were sold in the domestic market, while 21,472 units were exported. The company witnessed a year-on-year growth of 23.3% in April 2023 as compared to the same period last year.
The Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Kenichi Umeda, stated that the company is growing at a double-digit rate and the consistent sales performance is due to the increasing demand for Suzuki two-wheelers in India and overseas markets. He further added that April 2023 was a progressive month for the company, as it achieved a significant milestone of producing 7 million units since its inception in 2006. The company also introduced new colours for their third-generation Hayabusa.
