Bengaluru, NFAPost: Tesco Bengaluru, the global business services, and technology arm of UK’s retail giant Tesco PLC, announced the appointment of Sanjay Dora as the Chief Operating Officer of Tesco Business Services and Country Operations Lead for Tesco Bengaluru.
Sanjay Dor brings great depth and experience of the entire lifecycle of a GBS. From setting up new capabilities and running large operations to driving transformation and delivering innovation, he has proven expertise and a track record of delivering strategic outcomes within global, multi-dimensional organisations. This is Sanjay Dor’s second stint with Tesco Bengaluru. He was previously associated as Director of Tesco Business Services from 2011-2015.
In his new role, Sanjay will be responsible for smooth management of operations, compliance, governance, providing country leadership to Tesco Bengaluru. He will also be a part of the TBS Leadership Team and a board member of Tesco Bengaluru Private Limited.

Sanjay’s last stint was as India Country Operations Executive at Telstra, a leading Australian Telecom major, where he helped build from scratch a world-class Technology and Operations capability delivering sustained long-term customer and transformational value. Prior to this, he worked with ANZ as Chief Operating Officer for their Group Service Centres in India, the Philippines, and China.
