Bengaluru, NFAPost: Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) organised International Women Entrepreneurs day with overwhelming participation of eminent persons and entrepreneurs in the state.
Delivering the key note address, chief guest Israel Consul General Tammy Ben Haim the of Israel graced the programme said it is important to celebrate days like this (International Women Entrepreneurs Day) and how women are looked differently in government, individual businesses and private companies.
“This scenario has to change and women should be looked up as equals in their professions. It is worth noting that India is a making impact in the global entrepreneurial arena. I am happy to see that many lady entrepreneurs are part of this journey. But we have to do lot more going forward,” said Israel Consul General Tammy Ben Haim
FKCCI President Gopal Reddy delivered the inaugural address and he spoke about the efficiency of women as entrepreneurs.
“It is a reality that women manage fund flow in a better way and make business prosper. I request women to make time in visiting institutions and encourage young girls to become entrepreneurs,” said FKCCI President Gopal Reddy.
Speaking at the function, former bureaucrat Sobha Nambisan IAS mentioned how women entrepreneurs are creating National Wealth through their contributions.
“I praise them for creating employment opportunity and for being change agents in the business community. It is very imporatant that we should focus on Women Empowerment and the women has to stand up for themselves and speak their minds and should not try to please,” said former bureaucrat Sobha Nambisan IAS.

Kirloskar Industries Director and Hon Consul of Finland Geetanjali Kirloskar said how women give birth to ideas and life and also nurturing from the early childhood till they become adults and go out into the world and women naturally inspire the women around them.
“Now woman entrepreneurs should focus on scaling up business and overcome the hurdles in it. They will have to on health while doing business,” said Kirloskar Industries Director and Hon Consul of Finland Geetanjali Kirloskar
Shabeena Sultana Hon Consul of Tunisia talked about mental health issues in women in general and women entrepreneurs in particular and urged all of them to give a good thinking about their health and their employees.
