Bengaluru, NFAPost: Karnataka Minister for IT&BT Minister C N Aswath Narayan released a report on ‘Beyond Bengaluru Beyond Expectations 2022’ at the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2022 here on Friday.
Speaking after the ‘Beyond Bengaluru’ session here, Karnataka Minister for IT&BT Minister said the meet has conducted an exclusive track on the subject for the first time.
“The environment has enabled the Beyond Bengaluru initiative due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. I thank the entrepreneurs and their IT industry for their support in recognising the government’s initiative to decongest Bengaluru and go beyond the city to open shop,” said Karnataka Minister for IT&BT Minister.
The Minister said the government is looking at tying with educational institutions in the state and making them a catchment area for talent scouts. He said the interaction between the academia and the industry was necessary to strengthen the Beyond Bengaluru ecosystem and initiative.
He said the ‘Beyond Bengaluru’ initiative had created and enabled a demand for buying and selling of products and services outside the city. He hoped that the initiative will gradually catch up outside the city just as it did for the city. He said if the economy needs to be expanded it could happen only outside Bengaluru and in other clusters that are operational in the state.
Karnataka Minister for IT&BT Minister also appreciated the initiatives taken by the industry to take the leap while the government had continued to act as an enabler. He said vision groups and task forces had worked well to make the ‘Beyond Bengaluru’ initiative a growing reality.
