New Delhi, NFAPost: Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Education Rajkumar Ranjan Singh to grace Pre-Global South Universities Association (GSUA 2022) Consultative Forum meeting on 30th this month.
Organised by Africa Asia Scholars Global Network (AASGON), GSUA2022 deliberates on the theme of ‘Reformation of contemporary approach to education, knowledge, innovation and entrepreneurship, communication and immersion aspired for sustainable 21st Century’.
Speaking to TheNFAPost, Union Minister of State for Education and External Affairs Rajkumar Ranjan Singh said it is great to see that the board of AASGON has not only chosen New Delhi as the venue for the inauguration of the Global South Universities Association (GSUA) but establish the headquarters of the Global South Centre for Research Innovation Peace and Technology for Sustainable Development (G-SCRIPTS-D) in India.
“I do believe that GSUA will help in finding solutions to human capacity and resource developmental problems and further strengthen good governance, poverty alleviation, peace and sustainable growth in the developing countries of the Global South region,” said Union Minister of State for Education and External Affairs Rajkumar Ranjan Singh.
Besides reiterating his commitment to the mission and objectives of AASGON, Education and External Affairs Rajkumar Ranjan Singh also emphasised India stands for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the whole world as One Family).
The GSUA is the World’s first largest educational conference of University Chancellors, Presidents, Vice Chancellors and College Principals, as well as World leaders and Investors with a mission to collectively address the reformation of fragmented education in our fractured world.
Expressing happiness over the progress of the event, AASGON Founder and Group Executive President Abdul Dewale Mohammed said GSUA2022 is fully committed to the attainment of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and the Africa Union Agenda for 2063, as well as the strengthening of the Commonwealth, to attain equity and inclusive governance.
“The Pre-GSUA2022 meet is happening at a time when we are witnessing global economic uncertainties and it is reflected in the systemic frailties of the existing structures and models of leadership. As it is impacting the political, academic, corporate, environmental, and social landscape, it is high time that we should also come up with solutions. We have already put across a considerable number of speakers with eminenece to deliberate on the current scenario of human civilisation,” said AASGON Founder and Group Executive President Abdul Dewale Mohammed.
Besides the presence of Asociation of Arab Universities (AARU) Secretary General Prof Amr Ezzat Salama, Royal Academy of Science International Trust, US, Executive Director HRH Dr Nisreen El-Hashemite and Silicon Valley Engineering Council (SVEC) USA President Dr K R S Murthy, the Pre-GSUA2022 meet has formed a consultative focus with co-chairperson including Institute of Electroinics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE- USA) President Elect DrThomas M Coughlin, Al Maskari Holding (AMH) Abu Dhabi (UAE) Chairperson Dr Shaikha Ali Salem Al Maskari and Global Knowledge Alliance (GKA) Australia Founder / Chairperson Prof Anoop Swarup.
As part of the Pre-GSUA2022 meet on 30th September, there is a panel discussion on the topic ‘Panacea To Our Fractured World’. The line-up of distinguished guest speakers include WICCI Handloom Council President and MAALGAADI Founder Sakina Ansari, Centre for Education Growth and Research (CEGR) President and AAFT University Chancellor Sandeep Marwah, Maldives Minister of State For Education Abdulla Rasheed Ahmed and Chairman GNK Corps and PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry Former President Anil Khaitan.
