New Delhi, NFAPost: Upholding its commitment to build applications that are ‘Future Ready’, Microsoft announced the Future Ready Applications hackathon for Microsoft customers and the developer community. The hackathon aims to provide developers a platform to showcase innovative solutions and solve real-world business challenges using the Microsoft Azure platform.
The hackathon will be held across six cities -Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Kochi on September 24, 2022. The top three winners of the hackathon from each city will receive cash rewards of INR 50,000, INR 30,000, and INR 20,000 respectively.
The hackathon aims to bring the best of developers together to devise solutions that address diverse business needs for industries like fintech, e-commerce, retail, and others. The hackathon will enable developers to build solutions using developer velocity tools and devise innovative solutions for environmental challenges across India
Using services provided by the Microsoft Azure platform, participants of the hackathon will need to build an application that addresses a business problem for the industry. The winning team will be shortlisted based on the innovative idea and their presentation. Participants also get the opportunity to be mentored by Technical SME’s
Microsoft India Executive Director, Customer Success, Aparna Gupta said Microsoft is elated to launch the Future Ready Applications hackathon- a platform for developers to present their coding skills and solve interesting business problems and real-world challenges through services offerings of Microsoft.
“Developers will be mentored by our technical SME’s who will help them build the apps for tomorrow on Microsoft Azure. Microsoft Azure cloud platform hosts more than 200 products and cloud services which can help developers solve today’s challenges and design solutions for the future. Our goal is to empower developers to harness the power of the cloud, enabling them to move from idea to code; code to cloud and cloud to the world,” said Microsoft India Executive Director, Customer Success, Aparna Gupta.
A series of initiatives focused on developers have been launched across India to empower students and developers with initiatives like the Blogathon Challenge, Future Ready Application Hackathon, Azure community present in 100 cities, cloud skills challenge, virtual training days amongst others.
