Bengaluru, NFAPost: The 18th edition of CII’s Flagship India Innovation Summit has been reimagined as ‘Innoverge’ with the theme ‘Engineering Imagination’. The Summit will inspire collaboration and ideation by bringing a cross-section of stakeholders to engage, share, understand and learn about the futuristic and imaginative world of high-end innovations.
CII Innoverge 2022 is scheduled on 25 – 27 August 2022 at Hotel Taj West End in Bengaluru. The Summit will present Innovation-led growth strategies that have catalyzed the evolution of Indian Industry, making Indian companies emerge as global leaders in creating the momentum to drive the digital era.
The government of Karnataka is the Partner State and the Summit be addressed by Karnataka Minister of Electronics, ITBT & S&T, Higher Education, Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Dr C N Ashwath Narayan, Karnataka Industries Minister Dr Murugesh Rudrappa Nirani and Karnataka Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Commerce & Industries, IT, BT and S&T Dr E V Ramana Reddy.
CII Innoverge 2022 is an enhanced version of the earlier editions and also includes showcasing of innovations through the Innoverge 2022 exhibition, which will provide attendees with the opportunity to experience the demos of leading innovations across various sectors.
CII Past President & Infosys Cofounder and Axilor Ventures Chairman Kris Gopalakrishnan said India has the potential and the resources to become the global technology innovation hub.
“For this, India undoubtedly needs to create a strong innovation ecosystem as part of its core strategy. An in-depth focus on innovation would lead to boosting existing sectors and frontier sectors that will drive the next economic growth. When linked to production and manufacturing, these innovation engines will fuel economic growth and create unprecedented and new avenues of employment prospects for India,” said CII Past President & Infosys Cofounder and Axilor Ventures Chairman Kris Gopalakrishnan.
This calls for interventions including transforming business processes, creating strategies for innovation, incorporating emerging technology tools like web 3.0, and quantum info systems and investment in R&D in emerging areas like healthcare, energy, data science, clean tech, space, manufacturing etc. Every organization, therefore, needs to cultivate individuals, teams and alliances that can constantly innovate new paths for creating value.
