Bengaluru, NFAPost: Startup Chaupal, a Jaipur-based virtual incubator, is expanding its presence in South India in partnership with The GAIN, an accelerator promoted by StartupXseed Ventures.
As part of the event, startups and entrepreneurs are invited for ‘StartupTalk’ organised by The GAIN and Startup Chaupal in Bengaluru and supported by 100 Open Startup, TiE Bengaluru and The NFAPost. The event is happening at The GAIN office located at J P Nagar 3rd Phase, starting from 3 pm onwards.
Startup Chaupal which is cofounded by Sumit Srivastawa and Apoorva Bhandari has evolved over the last two years with its pan India presence and by helping more than 100 startups graduate from its cohort. A few of them have also received initial funding from their internal Network.
Startup Chaupal Founder & CEO Sumit Srivastawa said today’s launch along with The GAIN is a big event for Startup Chaupal’s efforts to expand its footprint.
“Startup founders across India are working hard to stay afloat and keep their pace in the market. There should be a concerted effort to support our brilliant startup founders’ fail as they are finding solutions to our biggest problems and generating employment,” said Startup Chaupal Founder & CEO Sumit Srivastawa.
Commenting on the initiative, Startup Cahupel Cofounder Apoorva Bhandari said the lack of initial funding support for Indian startups are hindering the growth of many startups.
“Startup Chaupal is creating a structured network of investors to support startups in their initial days. After a prolific run as Angel investors, it is interesting to note that investors from the USA, Canada, Singapore and across India are joining hands to support startups through Startup Chaupal Angel Network,” Startup Cahupel Cofounder Apoorva Bhandari.
Commenting on the partnership with Startup Chaupel, The GAIN CEO & Cofounder Varad Rajan Krishnan said The GAIN and Startup Chaupal are committed to supporting startups from Ideation to Execution to Funding.
“We find a better synergy and hope this will propel many Angel Network also join our initiative. We are evolving this partnership at a time when India is working for $5 trillion economy with the description made by startup and their innovation,” said The GAIN CEO & Cofounder Varad Rajan Krishnan.
He also pointed out that startups from across cities of India, whether they are from Mumbai, Bangalore, Gurugram, Ahmedabad, Surat, Kolkata, Pune etc., will find a new opportunity as The GAIN and Startup Chaupel are joining hands.
Expressing happiness over the new initiative, A F Plank CEO Subhash Bhaskaran said startups across India are demanding structured attention during their growth journey.
“Since the ideation, if they are mentored properly with solid support the outcome will be ensured properly. We need to fuel this ecosystem not only in Tier 1 cities but also in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. A F Plank hopes The GAIN and Startup Chaupel add value in this journey,” A F Plank CEO Subhash Bhaskaran. A F Plank is an accelerator under Appukuttan Foundation and headquartered in Bengaluru.
