Mumbai, NFAPost: Finland International School (FIS), an initiative by Goenka Global Education, has appointed Minna Repo as the Principal of the Pune school effective from Tuesday.
With a vision to create an internationally advanced education system in India and creating global citizens, Goenka Global Education introduced the Finnish curriculum in India in association with EduCluster Finland.
Goenka Global Education Managing Director Shashank Goenka said the organisation welcomes Minna Repo to India and Goenka Global Education is glad to have her as the school principal for FIS Pune.

She is someone who understands our vision to shape the future of our students and we are delighted by her zeal and commitment which will enhance the quality of education to the next level,” said Goenka Global Education Managing Director Shashank Goenka.
Finland International School Principal Minna Repo said she feels delighted and privileged to join the Indian campus of Finland International School as the Principal.
“I am looking forward to contributing to the development of the school and being able to work with the FIS families for the benefit of their children. My aim is for FIS Pune to become a school where students can truly experience the joy of learning while achieving high academic results,” said Finland International School Principal Minna Repo.
Minna Repo brings with her vast 25+ years of experience in education in Finland and abroad. Well known for her international expertise in the Finnish Education, she has been at the forefront of transforming education and making education relevant for students. With her multicultural leadership studies and MA in Education, she will lead the students and staff of FIS equipping them with skills and competences needed in the future.
Minna Repo’s appointment is yet another step in strengthening Finland International School’s core team. The school sees a huge opportunity in enhancing the education by introducing an internationally advanced education system in India.
