Bengaluru, NFAPost: NFAPost Tech Billion, the two-day annual technology & manufacturing conclave and consumer electronics show, concluded its maiden journey on 29th December.
Besides the participation of Karnataka IT/BT Ministry and Karnataka Industries Ministry, NFAPostTechBillion2021 witnessed participation from global MNCs, Indian corporates, startups, NFAPost Global Partners, central government departments, state governments, associations, trade bodies, quasi-government agencies, and above all global and Indian intelligentsia and other decision-makers.
The marquee event, organised in Bengaluru by NFA Communication Pvt Ltd on 28th and 29th, hosted stakeholders from startup, entrepreneur, business, technology, investor, policymaker, and academic sectors across India and around the world. NFAPostTechBillion showcased a wide selection of the best and the brightest ideas which can give wings to unicorns.
These ideas are the creations of ambitious Indians who want to innovate and solve problems at a global level. The overwhelming support for NFAPostTechBillion2021 from technopreneurs, investors, and policymakers under one roof helped the event to provide great/billion ideas the right support to deliver a minimum $Billion in value.
The event started off with the welcome address of NFAPost Founder and Editor-In-Chief N V Vijayakumar. He made it very clear that NFA Communication Pvt Ltd brand NFAPost is the voice of the BEST. Here it is to be noted that Best stands for Business; Entrepreneurs / startup; Sellers / value added resellers / distributors; Technology. He also companies efforts to stabilise its products in three verticals like digital, print and broadcasting. He also hinted at companies plan to come up with a platform-centric approach to cater to the demands of the BEST.
In an interaction with NFAPost, Karnataka Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani highlighted the state government’s initiative to make necessary fiscal and infrastructure policies which will help in developing a sustainable and conducive environment industry-friendly ecosystem in the state.
“I am glad that there is a growing enthusiasm among global community to come to Karnataka, annd I came to realise its importance when I visited Dubai Expo. Now, Karnataka is gearing up for its Global Investors Summit in November 2022 and planning for building a greater synergy with business community and innovators across the globe,” said Karnataka Industires Minister Murugesh R Nirani.
After that a keynote address was delivered by Volvo Group India President and Managing Director Kamal Bali on Disruption on Mobility. He emphasised the emergence of a new tech stack around it led by electric vehicles and the role of India as epicentre of mobility technologies. He also gave an overview on Volvo India’s strategy along with the Swedish companies global mission.
The second day witnessed a live fireside chat with Adhar first Chief Executive Officer Srikanth Nadhamuni by NFAPost Founder and Editor-in-Chief N V Vijayakumar on ‘How IndiaStack can propel India forward in this digital age.” He elaborated on his vision on the APIs to be built on the platform and slightly mentioned its impact assessment across India.
Besides setting the context for India’s ambitious digital journey for several citizen service delivery, Srikant Nadhamuni also highlighted India Stack efforts on Digital Locker, Bhim App, impact made during Covid-19 and rising global interest of global nations to emulate the project.
The second day also witnessed a panel discussion on Topic: Industry-Academic connect for fuelling innovation ecosystem: A perspective from India. Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) South India Council Regional President Dr C Manohar led the discussion along with Mumbai-based KARMA Management Services CMD & Chief Vision Officer Pratik Vaidya. The panelist came up with restructuring of the curricula for the better engagement with the business community and reorienting the apprenticeship method for the greater innovation of the society.

Deepak Anand, VP-Strategy & Business Acceleration, SCII, deliberated on the topic of Japan’s IT Journey Via India: A Perspective. He highlighted the growing stature of Japan as an investor in India as the country has become the fourth largest source for FDI to India.
He highlighted the fact that India attracted around $50 billion FDI from Japan between 2000 to 2021 November. But from 2016 to 2021 November one-fourth of this investment is centred around IT and ITES industry and startup innovation ecosystem.
Also, NFAPostTechBillion2021 witnessed the launch of the first edition of NFAPost ICT Brandbook 2021. Besides articles on 10 emerging technologies disrupting human life, the NFAPost ICT Brandbook amplifies human civilisation’s journey on the path of prosperity and the need for sustainable growth and measuring its social impact. The book profiles 100 ICT brands, 50 CXOs, 50 CTOs, 50 CMOs, and 50 CFOs. Also, it profiles 50 women tech icons, 50 startups, 50 tech icons, 50 veteran entrepreneurs, 50 VCs, etc. The distribution of the book will start on 25th January.

It will be aligned with ”NFAPostStartupSafari’ in its reach-out plan to the various state governments in the country.
