Bangalore: Global software major Wipro and German data processing firm Celonis have jointly opened a supply chain command centre to provide solution for bottlenecks and inefficiencies in companies.
“The solution enables companies to identify and fix process bottlenecks and inefficiencies, gain business insights, open growth opportunities, manage risks and maintain business continuity even in disruptive times,” said the IT firm in a statement here on Monday.
Founded at Munich in Germany, Celonis is co-headquartered in New York and sells software as a service (SaaS) to improve business processes.

The command centre combines business-critical capabilities from process KPI (key performance indicators) to process optimisation in transformation programmes.
“Enterprises can leverage ready-to-use models for process maturity level assessment, custom code analysis and automation opportunities. The solution is offered as-a-service without any upfront investments,” said the vendor.
According to Wipro president for applications and data Harish Dwarkanhalli, though supply chain management has been a priority for businesses, the need to transform it (supply chain) has increased due to Covid-19 pandemic.
