The No.1 EV brand in the country with over 36% market share continues to lead the EV transformation in the country according to JMK Research
New Delhi, NFAPost: Leading the electric revolution of two-wheelers in the country, India’s largest electric two-wheeler company Hero Electric has emerged as the most preferred brand in the country with over 4 lakh EVs on-road and a whopping 36% market share.
The findings is published by JMK Research & Analytics, a boutique consultancy firm providing research and advisory services to Indian and International clients across solar, wind and e-mobility segment.
In the year 2021, Hero Electric has sold the maximum EV two-wheelers across major centres in the country notwithstanding the slowdown of the pandemic. Riding on the conducive policies by the Central and state governments, apart from rising fuel prices, the company sold over 65,000 scooters in the year starting January 2021.
With a robust charging infrastructure with over 2000 charging stations and over 20,000 in the pipeline, the company had recently announced its expansion of its manufacturing facilities to manufacture over 1 million EVs by 2025.
Hero Electric Managing Director Naveen Munjal said the company is delighted and thank everyone for their support in making Hero, India’s no.1 Electric two-wheeler brand.

To further create awareness, the company will be launching a host of initiatives and campaigns that continue to create awareness and focus on the innovation that led to catalysing the electrification of the two-wheeler space in India. The campaign aims at creating awareness and empowering millions of Indians to start their journey towards electrification with Hero Electric. It aims to create and offer the best of electric two-wheelers to consumers.
