Mumbai, NFAPost: Reliance Jio has announced to offer a two-day complimentary unlimited plan to the users who faced network issues earlier in the day. The complimentary plan will be applied to the user’s number automatically and will become active post the expiry of their current active plan.
In a message to its customers, Jio said, “Your service experience is our top priority. Unfortunately, this morning, you and a few other customers in Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh faced service disruption. Although our teams were able to resolve this network issue in a matter of hours, we understand that it wasn’t a pleasant service experience for you, and we truly apologise for that.”
#JioDown was trending yesterday on microblogging site Twitter. Downdetector.com, an online platform that provides real-time information about the status of various websites and services, showed that reports about Jio’s network outage started rising 9AM onwards and reached a peak at 11AM.
At 11:08AM, there were about 4,000 reports of Jio network outages across India. The reports were mainly concentrated around Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
