The leading EV manufacturer has joined hands with MoEVing Urban Mobility to facilitate the launch of Altigreen’s electric mobility solutions for last mile delivery in the region.
Chennai, NFAPost: Altigreen―a leading electric vehicle OEM – is all set to enter the Chennai market with its road-ready new energy Electric Vehicle (neEV) to mimic its success in Delhi and Bangalore.
The company has partnered with MoEVing for the launch of MoEVing’s last mile cargo delivery through its state-of-art EV solutions to fast pace transformation towards electric mobility. With this entry, Altigreen has now expanded its network across major markets including Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad and now Chennai.
Commenting on the launch, Altigreen Propulsion Labs CEO Amitabh Saran said the company’s road-ready vehicles have been exclusively conceptualised for the needs of Indian roads as also a solution to rising environmental concerns.
“The demand for sustainable, clean and affordable vehicles for last-mile delivery is at an all-time high. We believe our partnership with MoEVing will help both of us to cater to this demand and achieve our target of deploying environment friendly mobility solutions in the region,” said Amitabh Saran.
Altigreen has already opened multiple service centers in Chennai and it will roll out its EV solutions for grocery and doorstep goods delivery. It will work together with MoEVing to augment the adoption of EVs in last-mile delivery over traditional ICE vehicles to help improve the city’s air quality with its affordable and green options. It is, further, developing a network in other areas like Coimbatore to support its customers.
