Indian startup scene is still reverbating with IPO clamoure as last week 38 Indian startups raised funding, of which 33 received a total sum of about $1392 million or $1.39 billion.
It is interesting to find that edtech startup Unacademy raised the highest funding of about $440 million, followed by fintech player BharatPe which raised $370 million. Meanwhile, funding for five of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.
Below is the summary of deals closed this week
Unacademy: Edtech company Unacademy has raised $440 million in its Series H round led by Temasek along with participation from SoftBank, General Atlantic and Tiger Global. Mirae Asset, as well as Zomato Founder Deepinder Goyal and Oyo’s Ritesh Agarwal too participated in the round.
BharatPe: Fintech startup BharatPe has raised $370 million in its Series E round led by Tiger Global Management. Dragoneer Investor Group, Steadfast Capital, Sequoia Capital, Insight Partners, Coatue Management, Amplo and Ribbit Capital also participated in the round.
Infra.Market: Construction materials marketplace Infra.Market raised $125 million in Series D funding from Tiger Global at $2.5 billion valuation.
Mindtickle: Mindtickle has raised an additional $100 million in a Series E funding round led by existing investor SoftBank Vision Fund II.
Yellow.ai: Yellow.ai, a tech startup, raised $78.15 million led by WestBridge Capital, along with Sapphire Ventures and Salesforce Ventures.
Jupiter: Jitendra Gupta’s neo-banking platform Jupiter has raised $45 million in a fresh round co-led by Nubank, Global Founders Club, Sequoia Capital and Matrix Partners. Mirae Asset also participated in the round with a small investment.
Zeni: Fintech startup Zeni has raised $34 million in a Series B funding round led by Elevation Capital along with the participation of new investors Think Investments and Neeraj Arora.
MoEngage: MoEngage, a tech startup, raised $32.5 million led by Multiples Alternate with participation from Eight Roads Ventures, F-Prime Capital and Matrix Partners.

Titan: Professional email service Titan has raised $30 million from Automattic, the parent entity of WordPress. This is the first funding round for the Mumbai-based company which is a brainchild of serial entrepreneur Bhavin Turakhia.
Fashinza: B2B manufacturing marketplace Fashinza has raised $20 million in a mix of equity and debt as part of Series A funding. The round was led by existing investors Accel Partners and Elevation Capital along with Abu Dhabi’s DisruptAD, Stride Ventures, Alteria Capital, and Tradecred.
Toothsi: Dental tech startup Toothsi has raised $20 million in its Series B round led by Eight Roads Ventures, Think Investments and the Mankekar Family Office. Vishal Agrawal, Siddharth Shah and Dharmil Sheth, Ramakant Sharma and other startup founders have also participated.
Skill-Lync: Engineering focused edtech startup Skill-Lync has raised $17.5 million in its Series A funding round led by Iron Pillar. Existing investors Y Combinator and Better Capital also participated in this funding round along with angels including Binny Bansal, Sai Krishnamurthy and Rashmi Kwatra.
Onsurity: Employee healthcare platform Onsurity has raised $16 million in a Series A round led by Quona Capital, along with existing investors Nexus Venture Partners. The round also saw participation from healthcare entrepreneur Vivek Garipalli, the founder and CEO of Clover Healthcare.
Eduvanz: Eduvanz, which provides loans for skill development to students, has raised around Rs 100 crore or $13.5 million in its Series B round. This is the second equity round for the Mumbai-based company within a year which raised $5 million in Series A financing led by Sequoia Capital India in August 2020.
The Souled Store: Casual wear brand The Souled Store has raised Rs 75 crore or a little over $10 million in its Series B round led by Elevation Capital. Angel investors and founders of startups including Delhivery, Zalora, Mosaic Wellness, and Livspace have also participated in the round.
RenewBuy: Insurtech startup RenewBuy raised $10 million from Evolvence Capital.
Nektar.ai: SaaS-based B2B sales productivity startup, Nektar.ai has raised $6 million in its final tranche of seed round funding led by B Capital Group, 3One4 Capital and Nexus Venture Partners.
StockGro: Social investment startup StockGro raised $5 million from Roots Ventures and Velo Partners.
ApnaKlub: ApnaKlub, a B2B wholesale platform for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), has scooped up $3.5 million in its seed round of funding led by Sequoia Capital India’s Surge. With this, the total funds raised by the company stands at $5 million.
Neeman’s: Neeman’s, an eco-conscious footwear brand, raised Rs 20 crore or $2.6 million led by Sixth Sense Ventures.
Khabri: Vernacular audio platform Khabri raised $2.1 million from Liquid 2 Ventures, Pioneer Fund, Rebel Fund and other investors.
Faarms: Agritech startup Faarms has raised $2 million in its seed round of funding led by Koh Boon Hwee and Dr Cornelius Boersch with the participation of angel investors.
StackBOX: Logistics tech startup StackBOX raised $1.2 million from Ecosystem Ventures and CMM Group.
Goodmeetings: Tech startup Goodmeetings, which helps businesses excel in remote sales, has raised $ 1.7 million in pre-Series A round led by Chiratae Ventures.
QuickShift: Tech startup QuickShift raised $0.77 million from Anicut Angel Fund and Axilor Ventures.
GoSats: Bitcoin rewards company GoSats raised $0.7 million from Alphabit Fund, Fulgur Ventures, Stacks Accelerator, and SBX Capital.
Celcius: Celcius, a cold chain marketplace startup raised $0.5 million from Mumbai Angels Network, Huddle, Lumis Partners and angel investors.
ChefKart: ChefKart raised $0.3 million from Titan Capital, Lead Angels, Pravega Ventures, Manyavar Family Office and angel investors.
Rocket Skills: Online agricultural education platform Rocket Skills has raised Rs 2.2 crore or $0.29 million in its pre-seed round led by Better Capital, First Cheque and Titan Capital. Angels such as Harpreet Singh Grover, Aprameya, Abhinav Jain and Pravin Jadhav have also participated in it.
UrbanMatrix: Drone startup UrbanMatrix raised Rs 1.2 crore or $0.16 million led by SARA ELGI.
Playo: SportsTech startup Playo has raised $0.5 million in a seed round from Ventures High Tables Platform and other angel investors.
Pixuate: Video analytics platform Pixuate has raised $1 million in a seed financing round led by SucSEED Indovation Fund and joined by Mumbai Angels, CIIE-IIM Ahmedabad and others.
Krishify: Agritech startup Krishify has raised Rs 19.7 crore ($2.7 million) in a round led by Omidyar Network India, Ankur Capital and Orios Ventures.
