Leading payments and banking technology company, Cashfree, has launched ‘Payment links for Donations’ to help organisations raise funds and accept payments digitally for COVID-19 relief.
The link will be created using Cashfree Payment Gateway Dashboard and does not need any additional coding for integration, a release said.
The link created can be listed on the organisation’s website as well as shared through WhatsApp, SMS, email, and other social media platforms to collect donations.
Through ‘Payment Links for Donations’, organisations raising funds will be able to accept donations digitally via over 100 payment modes including net banking, UPI, cards, Paytm etc.
Organisations without a website can raise funds by sharing links over WhatsApp, SMS, email, and other social media platforms. Cashfree CEO and Co-founder Akash Sinha said, “In the last few weeks, we have witnessed the entire country come together, pool in resources and fight the battle against COVID-19.”
“At Cashfree, we wanted to use our technical know-how and existing infrastructure to create a product that will help those who are helping others. Through the release of ‘Payment Links for Donation’, we intend to make the process of collecting donations easier for those who do not have the technical infrastructure,” he added.
For organisations collecting donations for COVID-19 relief, Cashfree will waive off all payment gateway processing fees on transactions up to Rs 10,00,000 and will enable 15 minutes payment gateway settlements at no cost. Cashfree Payment Gateway users include crowdfunding platforms such as Ketto, Milaap, Socionity to name a few, the release added.
