GRB Dairy Foods, a well-known FMCG company, has come forward to support the fight against coronavirus and mitigate the ongoing oxygen crisis by contributing Rs 9,14,500 worth oxygen cylinders with accessories to Government Hospitals in Krishnagiri District, Tamil Nadu.
The representatives of the company met the Krishnagiri District Collector and handed over the oxygen cylinders, a release said.
The company, which has presence across India and overseas markets, plans to further contribute to the people of Tamil Nadu in many possible ways.
GRB Dairy Foods Founder and Chairman G.R. Balasubramaniam said, “With the present oxygen crisis, we are putting in all our efforts to support and boost India’s healthcare infrastructure.”
As many hospitals in India are in desperate need of oxygen for COVID-19 patients, the donations and contributions from corporates will not only save the lives of many people in India but will also give a ray of hope to people in the country that they are not alone, and help is on its way, the company added.
GRB Dairy Foods was started in the year 1984 by G.R. Balasubramaniam. It has now evolved from a ghee manufacturing entity to a multi-product, multi-brand company.
