Product Suite for Urban and Industrial Development Bodies, City Management, Town and Country Planning
IDSi Business Group (IDSi), consisting of India-based IDSi Technologies and the US-based IDSi International, announced the merger of its Online Building Permit Automation Business Unit with the 21-year-old, Bangalore-headquartered SRIT India (SRIT).
Product IPRs transferred include building permit approval systems “AutoPlan”, “PlanPermit”, and Fire NOC approval system “AgniPermit”. The product development and implementation team of the business unit is now unified to the SRIT fold.
More than 10,000 architects & structural engineers empanelled by the Urban Development, Town & Country Planning, Industrial & Commercial Development Bodies, and Municipal Corporations in the states of Karnataka, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Bihar are onboarded to the platform.
Product suit
Also, architects & structural engineers empanelled along with other government agencies such as fire department and Industrial Areas Development Board in Karnataka, are using the product suites for swift and hassle-free issuance of building permit and Fire NOC.
Apart from providing better services to citizens and business, these agencies have adopted the solution to improve the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) performance of their region also. Extending the contracts and relationships with all these customers is also an integral part of IDSI’s eGov unit merger into SRIT.
The decisive factor for this merger is primarily attributed to SRIT’s already-formed strategic alignment with EGov Foundation’s DIGIT platform.
DIGIT platform
SRIT is poised to begin state-wide implementations using the DIGIT platform, and its synergy potential with IDSi’s tried-tested-proven CAD verification product “AutoPlan” makes it an excellent value add for the DIGIT platform.
Since AutoPlan is already adopted by more than 10,000 Architects and Structural Engineers in India, SRIT shall be able to on-board these trained professionals to the DIGIT platform to fast-track its urban governance solution implementations.
Further since “PlanPermit” is already configured for markets outside India including USA, South Africa, and MENA geographical regions, this would also facilitate SRIT & eGov’s launch of DIGIT platform in these geographical regions.
The domain knowledge and project learnings of SRIT’s rejuvenated Building Permit Automation Team shall make it easier for further product enhancements and project implementations on the DIGIT platform.
