Bengaluru, NFAPost: Tata Motors has just unveiled three new models – T.6, T.7 and T.9, in the T-series mid-range of light commercial trucks (I&LCV). Built on a modular platform, these trucks have deck lengths ranging from 10 to 20 feet with a cabin width of 1,900mm.
The trucks come in 4 or 6-tyre combinations and designed to serve the needs of urban goods transportation. It is tailored for catering to industry-wide applications such as transportation of industrial goods, FMCG, LPG cylinders, e-commerce products, and cold chain containers of Covid-19 vaccines, pharmaceuticals as well as dairy producs like milk, eggs and fresh farm produce.
The cabin construction of Ultra Sleek T-series range is crash-test certified and includes high-adjustable seat, tilt-and-telescopic power steering, and a dashboard-mounted gear lever.
It also comes with onboard music system and USB fast-charging, besides featuring clear-lens headlamps and LED tail-lamps.
A powerful BS6-certified 4SPCR engine powers the T-series trucks with a total output of 99Bhp and 300Nm. It also includes airbrakes and parabolic leaf suspension.
The Ultra Sleek T-series is bundled with Fleet Edge telematics for fleet management and offers an operational warranty of 3 years or 3 lakh kilometers, whichever is earlier. Each such LCV truck also offers special after-sales programmes like Tata Samarth and Sampoorna Seva 2.0, which cover commercial vehicle driver welfare, on-site service, uptime guarantee and customised annual maintenance with fleet management solutions.
