Anil Velluri, an Indian IT industry veteran, joins Palo Alto Networks as its Regional Vice President, India and SAARC.
His joining hands with leading global cybersecurity leader Palo Alto Networks at a time when the Indian subcontinent is going through massive digital transformation. Anil is expected to play a big role in this era of security and cybersecurity.

Expressing happiness over his appointment, Anil Valluri said cloud is the next big transition in the technology industry and he is joining Pol Alto Networks at a right time.

Besides his recent 10 month stint with Google Cloud as Senior Director responsible for Google Cloud Business with Enterprises, Anil Valluri worked with NetApp for a long period of over 8 years serving as the President of India & SAARC Business.
He was also NetApp’s Country General Manager responsible for Business P&L, Growth, Customer satisfaction, Partner and Employee well being.
Anil Valluri proved his business ecumenism by helping the company register a stellar growth of over 15% CAGR over 8 years. He also played a leading role in building capabilities for NetApp India Engineering Centre and cosponsor for NetApp Startup Excellerator & NetApp Data Visionary Centre.
Commenting on his appointment, Palo Alto Networks President, Japan and Asia Pacific Simon Green said Anil Valluri joins the company at a time when it continues to advance its cybersecurity leadership in the region and help organizations navigate their digital transformation. “I am pleased to welcome Anil Valluri to Palo Alto Networks,” said Simon Green.
It is interesting to note that Anil Valluri led from the front a few biggest technology MNCs India across sales, and marketing during the transition phase of the hi-tech industry. He also worked in Sun Microsystems in India as the vice president and MD. Prior to NetApp, he was with Artiman Ventures, a Bay-area based venture capital firm.
According to Arvian Research his mandate at Palo Alto Networks will be to primarily focus on driving profitable growth and accelerating the company’s technology footprint across customer segments, creating strategic go-to-market alliances, and scaling the partner ecosystems while building talent within the region.
