Bengaluru, NFAPost: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and BPL Medical Technologies Pvt Ltd entered into an MoU for co-operation in the field of medical products and solutions to provide affordable health care for the country and also to leverage the policy initiatives of the Indian Government, such as Make in India.
BEL Director (Bangalore Complex) Vinay Kumar Katyal and BPL Medical Technologies Pvt Ltd CEO & Managing Director Sunil Khurana exchanged the MoU documents in the presence of senior officers of both the companies.
BEL and BPL Medical Technologies Pvt Ltd are inclined to co-operate and work together pursuant to which necessary manufacturing ToT and License Grant shall be made to BEL by BPL Medical to enable manufacture and sale of Patient Monitoring Systems and C-ARM Surgical Imaging System.
Since 1967, BPL Medical has been widely known for its reliable products and services, making it the supplier of choice for hospitals, clinics and practicing physicians across India.
BPL Medical Technologies Pvt Ltd is in the business of designing, manufacturing and marketing of medical equipment such as ECG, defibrillators, critical care products including patient monitors, Anaesthesia Work Stations, Ventilators, C-Arms, Diagnostic X-Ray equipment, Ultrasound and home healthcare products.
The products are manufactured in an ISO 13485 certified facility and conform to global Quality Assurance standards and best practices.
BEL is a multi-product, multi-technology, multi-Unit conglomerate having products in the areas of Radars, Missile Systems, Military Communications, Naval Systems, Electronic Warfare & Avionics, C4I Systems, Electro Optics, Tank Electronics & Gun/Weapon System Upgrades and Electronic Fuzes in the Defence segment.
The Navratna Defence PSU’s non-Defence business segment includes areas such as Electronic Voting Machines, Homeland Security & Smart Cities, Solar, Satellite Integration & Space Electronics, Railways, AI, Cyber Security, Software as a Service, Energy Storage Products, besides Composite Shelters & Masts.
