Connects Jaipur with Amritsar, Dehradun, Delhi, Goa, Surat & Udaipur; Bookings open
Connects Pakyong with Kolkata under UDAN; New flights are effective 1st February
New Delhi, NFAPost: SpiceJet, the country’s favourite airline, announced 20 new flights on its domestic network. The airline announced the launch of 16 new flights connecting Jaipur with different cities including Dehradun, Amritsar, Udaipur and Delhi among others. SpiceJet will also connect Jaipur with Goa via Surat. These flights will not only enhance connectivity but also boost travel and tourism.
After connecting Pakyong with Delhi, the airline will now also connect Pakyong with Kolkata under the UDAN scheme. The airline will also add its second frequency between Delhi & Dehradun. All the new flights are scheduled to commence operations effective 1st & 10th February 2021.
While the flights on Jaipur-Dehradun will operate four-times-a-week, flights between Jaipur-Amritsar will operate thrice-a-week. Flights connecting Jaipur with Udaipur, Goa and Delhi will operate daily along with flight between Delhi and Dehradun. Flights on the Kolkata-Pakyong sector will operate five-times-a-week.
Expressing happiness over the development, SpiceJet Chief Commercial Officer Shilpa Bhatia said the Pink City of India has always been known as one of the biggest tourist hotspots and trade hubs for its rich, cultural heritage and handicraft.
“There can’t be a better time to launch multiple flights to connect this picturesque and historical city with other major cities owing to the perfect weather conditions for travel and tourism. As Covid cases are slowly diminishing, travel destinations like Jaipur make a perfect weekend get-away for everyone with special introductory prices on one-way fares. Plus, we will keep adding new flights to various other Tier-2 cities offering great potential,” said Shilpa Bhatia.
With the new flights, passengers from cities such as Jaipur, Dehradun, Pakyong and Surat will be able to easily travel to a host of other cities both on SpiceJet’s domestic as well as international network.
The airline will deploy its Bombardier Q400 aircraft on these routes.
The airline has announced an introductory promotional fare starting at Rs 3200/- on Kolkata- Pakyong and Pakyong – Kolkata, Rs 3300 /- on Jaipur-Udaipur, Rs 2999 /- on Udaipur-Jaipur, Rs 2407 /- on Delhi-Dehradun, Rs 2804 /- on Dehradun- Delhi , Rs 3804 /- on Jaipur-Dehradun, Rs 3457 /- on Dehradun-Jaipur, Rs 3313 /- on Jaipur-Amritsar, Rs 2999 /- on Amritsar-Jaipur, Rs 4328 /- on Jaipur-Surat, Rs 2932 /- on Surat-Goa, Rs 3589 /- on Goa-Surat, Rs 3981 /- on Surat-Jaipur, Rs 2380 /- on Delhi-Jaipur and Rs 2754 /- on Jaipur-Delhi route.
